bob harper

hailing from the north east of scotland, bob harper began his career in the arts by training at gray’s school of art in aberdeen. he went on to teach art at various levels, including primary and secondary schools, and then as a lecturer in tertiary education.

it was only after harper retired in 2000 that he began working on his now-famous series of celebrity portraits. his son paul, a radio dj, began showing the artworks to the celebrities themselves when he interviewed them, and the positive response resulted in a great deal of attention for harper.

harper began selling his work to the fans of the celebrities, soon gaining his own fans and followers. his success has grown considerably since he began creating the artworks, and he continues to create and exhibit his artworks regularly, both online and in person. his new works are highly anticipated by his worldwide group of collectors.
