Known for his innovative and kinetic artworks, Patrick Rubinstein often incorporates iconic symbols from popular culture into his sensational pieces.

Through the use of this patented process of “The Dooble Principle”, Patrick is able to depict two images that simultaneously fuse into one, captivating the viewer with an eye-catching optical illusion as we move around the artwork.

Seen from varying angles, “LOVE” reveals itself in unique ways that gives the artwork a sense of animation as it continually renews itself in new perspectives. The movement is not the only element that affects this visual variation, but the light direction and intensity also contribute to the artwork’s kinetic effect.

Selling his first artwork at just 18 years old, Patrick has gone on to perfect his distinctive techniques and has since exhibited internationally across Europe and the United States.
