Darren Baker biography Born into a working-class family, Darren Baker began showing his artistic talents from an early age, and was encouraged to pursue his art further. After attending Bradford College of Art, he began working as an artist, and was soon exhibiting in London and New York. Baker has enjoyed several awards and accolades, including an opportunity to paint the HM Queen Elizabeth II in 2011. He was named the official artist of the 2012 London Olympics, and his art is currently held in the private collections of 10 Downing Street, The House of Lords, and the Vatican, among others.
