Originally from Cork, Ireland, Fin Dac (or Finbarr Dac) has lived in London all his life. His pseudonym DAC (which stands for Dragon Armory Creative) was found by a Chinese friend. When he started making street art, he took up this nickname and used a dragon logo as his signature. His passion for art began at a young age. At school in Cork, he was only interested in two subjects: art and technical drawing. Unfortunately, the school did not offer an art curriculum. He became a technical draughtsman on engineering projects before becoming a digital designer. Artistic director of the Beautiful Crimes gallery in the heart of Soho, Fin Dac also participates in the development of urban art. Recognised in his field, he has been commissioned by major brands such as the Royal Albert Hall, Armani, G-Star, Red Bull and also collaborated for the London Olympic Games in 2012.
